Our Mission:

The Fort Mojave Indian Tribe Behavioral Health Department's mission is to provide outpatient mental health and substance abuse assessment and intervention for Native American children, adolescents, adults, and their families experiencing mental disorders, behavioral problems, and alcohol/substance abuse problems. Their services include therapy, crisis intervention, mental health/substance abuse services in the medical clinic, and community education.

Our Vision:

Envisioning a resilient community where mental health and substance abuse challenges are addressed with compassion and effective care, leading to healthier, fulfilling lives for all Tribal members.

Objectives:

Holistic Care: Offers individual, marital, group, and family therapy, addressing a wide range of mental health and substance abuse issues.

Crisis Intervention: Provides immediate assistance for urgent mental health crises, including suicide risk assessments.

Community Education and Prevention: Conducts workshops and provides education on substance abuse and mental health, enhancing community awareness and prevention.

Collaborative Support: Works closely with other tribal departments, schools, and local agencies for comprehensive care.

Accessibility: Focuses on serving Native American children, adolescents, adults, and families, ensuring culturally sensitive and accessible care.
